Week 12

QB Carson Palmer Cin vs Cle: Remember a few years ago when Carson threw 6 TDs against Cleveland? The Browns are much worse on defense now, and Carson's having his best year since before his knee injury.

RB Adrian Peterson Min vs Chicago: He's been sick, and has a bum ankle. He'll go for 125 and a TD anyway...AP loves beating on the Bears.

RB Deangelo Williams Car vs NY Jets: The Jets Defense has been slumping, Jonathan Stewart has been hurt, and Deangelo is going to have a long run or two again.

WR Terrell Owens Buf vs Mia: TO will be featured, just like last week. As long as he capatalizes on his increased opportunities, expect a big game.

WR Pierre Garcon Ind vs Hou: Pierre Garcon is coming into his own, and he may be a free agent in your league. If you need a receiver this week, he's worth a shot.

And I may be in the minority, but the Patriots will beat the Saints Monday night with a big game by both Tom Brady and Randy Moss.

WR: Roddy White, Atl vs TB: TB can't cover him and stop Michael Turner, who will be playing today.

Play Fantasy Football with real NFL players

First of all, thank you for stopping by. At this blog, you'll find valuable information that may help you salvage your season. The purpose of this blog is to promote our business, Legendary Connections, which is owned by Eric Kearns, Leonard Marshall (formerly of the New York Giants), Jaime Fewer, Wendell Tyler (former Ram and 49er RB), and Peter Difondi. Owners predictions and picks will be submitted via this blog. Legendary Connections will be live early in 2010, and we'll be offering a Fantasy Football league that will allow the public to play in leagues filled with former NFL players. We'll also be offering memorabilia (game used and personal) and autograph material direct from our pro athlete clients. If you'd like to be on our early mailing list, please post a comment saying so or email ericpkearns@gmail.com.

This weeks hotspot picks:

QB: Carson Palmer, Cin @ Oak. Last meeting, Carson threw for 297 yards and 2 TDs, and the Raiders are in a complete state of disarray.

QB: Matt Ryan, Atl @ NYG. Leonard is sure to dislike this pick, but the law of averages and a struggling NYG defense bode well for Matt Ryan. Roddy White is still listed as questionable, but is expected to play. The lack of Michael Turner may make the Falcons pass more often as well.

RB: Pierre Thomas, NO @ TB. This one will likely be ugly, as the Saints should jump out to an early lead and will feature Thomas on the ground with a big lead. When healthy and given carries, Thomas has been a fantasy stud, as evidenced by his 5.2 ypc average.

RB: Kevin Smith, Det vs. Cle. I expect Detroit will win this game, riding their feature back to a lead and sustaining it with play action strikes to Calvin Johnson, who is also due for a good game.

WR: Sidney Rice, Min vs. Sea. Seattle's 22nd ranked pass defense will struggle to stop Brett Favre's favorite target. Rice now leads the NFC with 786 receiving yards, and benefits from defensive efforts to stop RB Adrian Peterson.

TE: Kellen Winslow: Likely to be featured in the TB passing attack as they attempt to keep up with the high scoring New Orleans Saints. Opportunites (targets)=catches.
